As I mentioned in my previous journals, I have become addicted to Avatar : The Last Airbender. I have become addicted to Zuko's tortured nature, and to the simple yet powerful messages that the show exhibits. It IS a kids' show with how it flows and how it is drawn, but the meaning behind it, the life lessons that kids should draw from it, even just the STORY, is very deep and very inspiring. I've actually caught myself near tears sometimes because of it.

It also has a neat concept of element bending that I really dig. And again, Zuko's tortured nature.

I've also been on art kicks for some strange reason. Not any of my own, because I definitely have not been doing any kind of art recently, but I've been browsing DA much more fervently, and for more specific things than usual. I went through a Zuko kick (for a very short time, though I'm sure that will be revisited), and then on a longer Mad Hatter splurge (which was definitely more fun).

This morning, for no reason that I can fathom, I logged on to DA looking for fantastic examples of color usage. Having an entire picture in a themed color, or having a truly striking color.

So far, I have gone through blue, green, red, and I am about to embark on yellow. I do plan on making collections for each color, once I've settled down on the favorites, in case anyone is interested.

For those who have any interest that do not see status updates on Facebook (or are not friends with me on Facebook), things are going a lot better than they were for me, except it seems as though I've replaced my depression with anger. Really, that's all there is to that. I am not depressed - I am angry. For reasons that I don't want to express where others can see, on the off chance they are ever found by the persons involved. Great.
